THE FOGGY DEW
October 9th, 2026
Two shows: 6pm & 8pm
Tickets: $25 ADV / $30 DOS, All ages
Produced by AUXART, The Foggy Dew brings together an ensemble of celebrated musicians and designers for a one night only performance of work they have been developing together during a mini-residency at Dekum Street Theater.
Based on an exploration of themes rooted metaphorically in war and displacement, the project will generate an immersive audio-visual journey in which the live music and lighting is integrated into the weave of an elaborate sculptural stage environment. Audiences are invited into a raw creative engagement between 7 accomplished artists who have exchanged the safety of a scripted setlist for the vulnerability, trust, and instinct required in a setting of loosely charted improvisation.
Artists:
- Philip Krohn, Direction and Stage Design
- Steve Berlin, Saxophones, flutes, keys (Los Lobos, The Blasters)
- Sarah Clarke, Vocals (Dirty Revival, The Motet)
- José Medeles, Percussion (The Breeders, 1939 Ensemble)
- Lisa Molinaro, Viola and Effects (Modest Mouse, Talkdemonic)
- Nate Query, Acoustic Bass (Decemberists, Black Prairie)
- Jeff Forbes, Lighting Design
AUXART produces large scale sculpture installations that serve as collaborative settings for integrated music, sound, and movement explorations. As a conceptual framework AUXART plays with the idea of using immersive sculptural installation as an amplifying stage or AUX port for creative inputs that are synchronized to common themes.
